OUR FOUNDER

Shameka Francis

Shameka, was born in Shreveport, LA and raised in Dallas, TX.

CEO and CFO of The Children’s Bread Ministries which was founded in August 2017. Shameka's passion for helping others began when she was a child watching her mother take in children who's parents were addicted to drugs and alcohol, her desire to see that people heal from being broken, guilty, and shameful of the choices and paths that life has taken them down and assisting them in finding their true purpose began. Shameka has a passion for God’s people, she and her family enjoy giving back to the community.  


Shameka's educational background includes a MSA, and MBA, from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX. A  MTS from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and licensed Christian Counselor in the State of Texas.

Shameka is currently pursing her Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

To improve the lives of people in low income neighborhoods. Our core values include:

· Ensuring that children are equipped with backpacks filled with school supplies

· Fan drive for the elderly and disabled

· Meals for the less fortunate on Thanksgiving

· Christmas gifts for our children who fall below the line of poverty

· Providing rent/utility assistance

· After school programs
